Hey everyone, it’s been a while since my last post so I thought I’d say something here. Things are finally going back to normal so I should start updating anytime soon. “Shutter Island” is in theaters now and I have a lot of photo updates to make; I have all these on my computer already I just need a couple of minutes to batch add them to the gallery.
Has anyone seen Shutter Island already? I haven’t, didn’t have time for going to the cinema lately but a friend of mine has and he said it was an interesting movie. I have been reading a lot of reviews on newspapers and magazines and in an overal I think the feedback is positive, but I would like to hear your opinions.
It’s my birthday next week so I’ll probably go see the movie on that day :)

Hey! You are back! Welcome! And happy birthday!
I am couting the days. “Shutter” will be in theaters in Brazil only in March 12. We are still waiting…
I’ve read a lot about it. But I stopped, because I don’t want spoilers (I still didn’t read the book). :)
i saw the movie twice..because on the second viewing you see things you dont pick up on that hint at the ending
i thought it was a very good movie…it was stylistic….the way the camera angles and the music worked into it reminded me a lot of 50s movies.
Mark Ruffalo seemed to have been doing a stylistic performance as well. Somewhat of a Dick Tracy if you will. I liked his work in this movie.
the ending is superb.
UAU! I can’t wait anymore. Until march 12, I am watching Mark’s other movies…
You guys are lucky. In Singapore, they’re only in theatres on 14 April!!! Ouch!!!
I saw it a couple of weeks ago, it was the world premiere. I thought it was a great movie, maybe the best Scorsese movie ever, I even liked it better than goodfellas.
Marks performance is great, he is this very calming person that really play a pretty big role in the directions of the movie in the way he leads Leo´s caracter along the path of discovery. He is in almost all the scenes througout the movie so you have alot to look forward too!
I wish he would participate more in the promotion of the movie. There´s allmost no interviews with him unfortunately.
