I finally added pictures from the upcoming movie “Blindness”, directed by Fernando Meirelles and starred by Mark, Julianne Moore, Gael García-Bernal, Danny Glover and Sandra Oh. The movie was filmed in Montevideo (Uruguay), São Paulo (Brazil) and Toronto (Canada), and I just found pictures from Brazil and Uruguay sets, taken in last September.

Also, there’s a new photoshoot in the gallery. :)

shutterisland.jpgNews about Martin Scorsese’s upcoming adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s mystery novel “Shutter Island.” The film, that will star Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Williams and Ben Kingsley and begins filming this March in Massachusetts. But apparently the film won’t be titled Shutter Island any longer. According to The Boston Herald the 1950s-era film noir is now titled ASHECLIFFE, the name of the mental hospital in the movie.

However, in screenwriter Laeta Kalogridis’ script, there’s lots of flashbacks to a World War II concentration camp. Hence, the casting call on Jan. 26 for background extras to play malnourished camp prisoners and military or law-enforcement types to portray the guards.

Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo in “Blindness,” a feature film based on the harrowing 1995 parable about an unnamed city stricken with a plague of sightlessness.

Mark Ruffalo and Julianne Moore are traipsing through a trash-strewn urban wasteland, scavenging for salvation. All around them, dozens of pitiful human beings dressed in filthy, mismatched clothes grope their way past wrecked cars and graffiti-splattered highway ramps, like dancers in some grotesque ballet of the damned.

It’s not a pretty sight, but it’s impossible to avert your eyes — which is exactly the point. Director Fernando Meirelles and his camera crew are gearing up to shoot another take of “Blindness,” a feature film based on the harrowing 1995 parable about an unnamed city stricken with a plague of sightlessness, by the Portuguese Nobel Prize-winning author José Saramago. Like nearly everyone else in the film, Ruffalo’s character, an ophthalmologist known simply as “the Doctor,” is afflicted with a terrifying malady in which the eyes appear normal but are coated with a milky whiteness that blocks out vision.

Mark attended last January 21 a party which LA Magazine did to celebrate the Mike Medavoy’s birthaday, at Hotel Bal-Air, in Los Angeles. He was with his wife, and I have some pictures where he’s with Silvester Stalonne’s company.

I’m capping some Mark movies, and started with one of my favorites: “Just Like Heaven”, a romantic comedy starred by Mark and awesome Reese Witherspoon. Mark is adorable as the lonely architet David Abbott, and both are so charismatic as David and Elizabeth.

There’s 764 captures in the gallery. Enjoy! :)

On occasion a criminal captures the imagination in a particularly emphatic way; Jack the Ripper did so both through extreme violence and a series of taunting letters to the police and press. The California serial killer who called himself The Zodiac followed in those footsteps, killing five confirmed victims in 1968 and 1969 (though claiming many more in his letters) and sending a lengthy correspondence, filled with puzzles and ciphers, vague threats and displaying an odd fondness for Gilbert & Sullivan musicals. Although never caught, his talent for branding and media manipulation have given him an importance in true crime lore that has few equals.

David Fincher’s film begins with several of the murders, though including only the ones that had surviving witnesses. While graphically depicted, they occur very quickly and it’s clear that Fincher’s interest lies not with Zodiac or the killings, but specifically with the effect that his conduct and especially his letters had upon three men. These include San Francisco Chronicle reporter Paul Avery (Robert Downey Jr.), who did the principal coverage on the case, and detective Dave Toschi (Mark Ruffalo), the lead investigator for the San Francisco police. Most importantly, it centers on Robert Graysmith (Jake Gyllenhaal), a cartoonist for the Chronicle who becomes completely obsessed with the case, and eventually would write the book that started a generation of armchair detectives on the case, referred to affectionately or contemptuously in equal measure as the Yellow Book.

Mark and OdetteThe adorable Mark Ruffalo took his new daughter, Odette, out for lunch with Ethan Hawke yesterday. There’s nothing cuter than seeing a man proudly show off his bundled up baby of joy. While Mark doesn’t look like he’s lost much sleep over his newborn, poor Ethan looks like he has.

More good news for Mark. Even though Reservation Road turned out not to be a huge hit, you all voted Zodiac as best thriller of the year. You win some, you lose some, and it looks like Mark is ending the year on a big upside considering that cute grin he’s sporting for the cameras.

After see the Odette picture on Popsugar, I came across to find new pictures from this day. I found some great and beauty pictures, but to preserve their privacy, since this site don’t support stalkerazzi, I won’t post it here. Sorry guys. But I found this one, that it won’t shows the baby face and it’s so beautiful, that I NEED to post it here. Look how adorable Mark is in the picture.
